Delete Your Danay Account
At Danay, we respect your privacy and give you control over your account and personal data.
You may request deletion of your Danay account and associated data at any time.
Delete Your Account from the App
You can delete your account directly from the Danay app:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
After you confirm the deletion request, Danay will begin the process of deleting your account and associated personal data.
Can’t Access the App?
If you no longer have access to your account or have uninstalled the Danay app, you can submit an account deletion request through this page.
Request Account Deletion
Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Danay account:
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request to ensure that the account belongs to you and to prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
What Will Be Deleted?
When your account is deleted, data associated with your account will be deleted or de-identified as applicable, including:
Your account information.
Child profiles associated with your account.
Nutrition information and food preferences.
Recorded allergies, restrictions, and health-related information.
Nutrition plans.
Meal tracking and history.
Photos you uploaded.
Grocery lists associated with your account.
Usage information directly associated with your account.
AI Coach conversations and context associated with your account, subject to our data retention policy.
We may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, security requirements, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Where information must be retained, it will not be kept longer than necessary for the applicable purpose.

Paid Subscriptions
Deleting your Danay account may not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.
If you have an active subscription, please manage or cancel it through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings, depending on where you purchased your subscription.
